What is shrink wrap and how does it work?

Shrink wrap is a heavy-duty plastic film that is applied around your items and then heated so it shrinks tightly and conforms to the shape. This creates a strong, weather-resistant barrier that protects against snow, ice, rain, UV rays, dirt, and pests.

Do you come to my location or do I have to bring my items to you?

We come to you! Our mobile service brings everything to your home, dock, cottage, or storage location throughout Southwest Michigan. There’s no need to trailer boats, move RVs, or transport patio furniture.

Which items do you shrink wrap?

We wrap almost anything outdoors: boats, jet skis / PWCs, patio furniture, grills, RVs & campers, gazebos, pergolas, lawn mowers, tractors, ATVs, quads, and more.

How long does the shrink wrap last?

Our professional-grade shrink wrap is designed to last through the entire winter and into spring. It stays tight and secure even in Michigan’s harsh weather.

Will shrink wrap damage my boat, RV, or furniture?

No. When applied correctly by experienced professionals, shrink wrap is safe and actually provides better protection than most traditional covers. We use proper venting and padding where needed.

How much does shrink wrap cost?

Pricing depends on the size and type of item(s). We provide free, no-obligation quotes based on an on-site assessment or photos. Contact us for a personalized quote.

Are you insured?

Yes. We are fully insured for your peace of mind while working on your property and protecting your valuable investments.

When is the best time to get shrink wrapped?

The best time is in late fall before the first major snow or freezing temperatures, but we can accommodate later requests as long as weather permits.

How long does the process take?

Most single items (boats, patio sets, grills, jet skis) take 30–90 minutes. Larger jobs like RVs or gazebos may take longer. We’ll give you a good time estimate when booking.

What happens in the spring?

We can remove the shrink wrap for you (as an additional service) or you can easily cut it off yourself. Most customers find their items are much cleaner and need far less spring cleaning. We also recycle the plastic wrap, so you can feel good knowing it won’t end up in a landfill.

What do you do with the shrink wrap after it’s removed?

Traditional shrink wrap does not break down in landfills and can take hundreds of years to degrade. That’s why we strongly encourage customers to let us handle removal. When we take the wrap off, we recycle the plastic properly so it stays out of landfills. It’s a simple way to protect your belongings and the environment at the same time.
